Abstract
The incidence of spontaneous pneumonia in Boer
local goat was reported based on isolation of
Mycoplasma and histopathological changes.
Mycoplasma isolate was provisionally identiļ¬ed as
Mycoplasrrra capricolurn subsp capripneumoniae by
cultural characters and biochemical changes. It
demonstrated minute coccoid Mycoplasma
organisms in the lumina of alveoli and bronchioles
by Giemsa technique and pathological changes
respectively.
