Abstract
In this study fifty two pathogens were isolated from hundred pneumonia lung samples of sheep slaughtered in Madras abattoir (Table III). In contrast to this only five pathogens were isolated from forty seven normal lung samples (Table IV). Pasteurella multocida was pathogenic to mice on subcutaneous inoculation. These findings are in conformity with earlier workers.
