dc.description.abstractThe study has highlighted the Production and Marketing aspects of Vegetable Produce under Prakritik Kheti Khushal Kisan Yojana in District Kangra of Himachal Pradesh with the help of structured questionnaire. In order to gain an overview a sample size of 120 respondents were reached out through convenience sampling. It was observed that majority of farmers are not aware about the components of Natural Farming. The study reveals that a significant portion of the farmer's expenses is allocated to acquiring certified seeds and plant materials, while the labor component is the least costly engagement, indicating that most farmers undertake fieldwork themselves. Furthermore, the analysis highlights the economic benefits farmers receive under the PKKKY program, focusing on cost reduction, pest and disease management, and market value. The study suggests Form Farmer Cooperatives or Partnerships, Improved Access to Knowledge and Technical Assistance, Improved Access to Certified Seed and Plant Material and Focus on Promoting and Educating Farmers regarding components of PKKKY etc. These insights can be used in improving the Production and Marketing of Vegetable Produce of the farmers who are involved in Natural Farming.
