A study was conducted to assess the air bome microbial status and gaseous pollutants inside the dairy and pig (pig fattener sty and farrowing pen) sheds and to compare the efficacy of commonly used disinfectants inside the livestock sheds. The gaseous pollutants including carbon dioxide, methane and ammonia in livestock sheds were recorded using Multi Gas Monitor (Drager X-am 7000). Microbial load (CFU/ma) including total bacterial count, coliform count and mould count was assessed in the livestock buildings.en_US
