Abstract
Studies on third stage of labour are of economic importance
as this process influences the succeeding productive and reproductive
efficiency of the dam. The time interval between parturition and
shedding of placenta in cows was reported by several authors (Rae
et al, 1966, Kadu and Kaikini, 1975 and Agasti et al, 1975)
