Abstract
A survey was conducted in Aseel breeding farms in Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu. This
survey was conducted in 17 Aseel breeding farms with the aim of investigating the common breeding practices and breeder performance in Aseel breeding farms. These farms are under contact farming with an integrator company for hatching egg production. The study revealed that the age of housing of Aseel breeders in deep litter laying houses ranged from 80 to 104 weeks among the farms.
