Abstract
The aim of the study was to analyze certain blood biochemical parameters related to oxidative stress and heart failure in dogs. The most common causes of congestive heart failure are DCM and CMVI. The dogs with symptoms of heart failure were subjected to clinical examination, radiography, electrocardiography, Doppler echocardiography to confirm DCM and CMVI. Blood collected from the confirmed cases were subjected to various hematological and biochemical analyses.
