Abstract
Sixty one serum samples from cows and
buffaloes with problems of repeat breeding
and nnoestrum were screened for leptospiral
infection by microscopic agglutination test
using antigens belonging to six serogrnups :
Autumnalis, Canicola, Grippotyphosa, He-
bdomadis, Icterohaemorrhagine and Pomo-
na. Twenty six out of 61 sera screened
revealed antibody rilres ranging from 1:20
to 1:320. Three repeat breeding and two
anoestrus cattle exhibited a titre of 1:80 and
above.
