The research work was carried out to study the incidence, clinical signs, haematobiochemical changes and ultrasonographic changes of liver in cows with fat cow syndrome. Fifteen apparently healthy cows were selected to obtain normal values of parameters under study. Twenty five cows with fat cow syndrome formed the clinical group and were subjected to detailed anamnesis, clinical examination, haematology, serum biochemistry, ultrasonographic evaluation, quantitative analysis of B-mode image, doppler ultrasonography and histopathological examination of liver. Incidence of fat cow syndrome in cows was 10.29 per cent among various metabolic diseasesen_US
