Abstract
Poultry keeping is one of the best tools
available for an Integrated rural
development and to bring about socio-
economic transformation of small
entrepreneurs. (Menon 1977 and Panda
1979). Women have a very important and
crucial role in the farming system through
their performance at various stages of
livestock and Poultry production and
management. Knowledge input is a
prerequisite for profitable poultry
farming. Hence, the study was made to
measure the existing knowledge of fame
women in poultry farming operations.
