Abstract
A study was carried out to analyse the balance sheet of livestock enterprises. For this study two most popular dairy companies in the industry such as Amul (Anand Milk-producers Union Limited) and HATSUN Agro product Pvt Ltd., were selected. Data related to the study was collected through secondary published resources. Balance sheet of both the companies has been taken from the published
annual reports of the respective companies for the year 2012-2013.
