dc.description.abstractThe epidemiological study of various diseases under category of Medical (n=1488, 71.85%). Gynaeco-obstetrical (n-113, 5.46%) and Surgical (n-470, 22.69%) cases among 2071 goats up to one to 24 months for a period of 5 years were studied. Diagnosis based on history, clinical signs and laboratory examination revealed diseases like fever, bottle-jaw, debility, inappetance, bloat, constipation, diarrhoea, dysentery, pneumonia, ectoparasitism, contagious ecthyma, abortion, retained placenta, dystocia, abscess, lameness, myiasis, navel-ill and fracture. Among medical, gynaeco-obsterical and surgical cases, diarrhoea (14.92%), dystocia(2.46%) and abscess(4.49%) were recorded as a major problems, respectively in goats.en_US
