dc.description.abstractA study was conducted in a indigenous Siruvidai chicken farm at Pappanad, Thanjavur district to evaluate the incubation parameters like fertility, hatchability and embryonic mortality pattern. The birds were reared in extensive system of management with the provision of night shelter. The sex ratio maintained was 1:5. The eggs were incubated at weekly interval in a small size automatic incubator of 1000 eggs capacity.en_US
