Post-cervical left sided uterine torsion (≤36O°) in a HF- cross breed cattle was relieved by Schaffer’s Detorsion method. Animal then had an imperfect cervical dilation which further precipitated chances for dystocia. After stabilizing the animal, under epidural anaesthesia, cervicotomy was performed and an emphysematous dead male fetus was delivered per-vaginally. In this paper, a successful management of uterine torsion coupled with imperfect cervical dilatation in a HF cross bred cow is reported.en_US
