| dc.theme | The present study was based on time series secondary data of Rice growing districts in Eastern Vidarbha. The data were collected on area, production and productivity of Rice grown in Eastern Vidarbha pertaining to the period from 1996-97 to 2015-16 (20 years) For the analysis of growth and instability, the entire study period was split into two sub-periods and overall, i.e. period I : 1996-97 to 2005-06, period II : 2006-07 to 2015-16 and overall : 1996-97 to 2015-16. The district-wise time series data on area, production and productivity were collected from Government publication; website of Government of Maharashtra. The analysis was done on the aspects such as Growth rate, Instability, Trend analysis and Decomposition of output growth. | en_US |
