Abstract
Effect of pregnancy, parturition,
postpartum and lactation on Thyroid
secretion rate were studied in 15 Madras
Red ewes. Blood samples were collected
on the day of mating; and on 2nd, 3rd, 4th and
5th month of pregnancy and on day of
parturition, 1,2,5,10,15 and 20 days of
postpartum, early, mid, late lactation period
and during dry period.
