dc.description.abstract | Uterine prolapse is a rare clinical condition in bitches that occurs due to prolonged labour and when the cervix is extensively dilated. A case of uterine prolapse in a Great Dane bitch and its management is presented. A two year old intact Great Dane bitch was presented to the Madras Veterinary College Teaching Hospital with a history of having whelped eight live puppies before twelve hours and a mass hanging from the vulval region. | en_US |
