Abstract
Quality Protein Maize (QPM) is a high yielding high lysine maize
released for alleviating hunger and malnutrition among maize
dependent populations. An investigation was undertaken in the
Department of Food Science and Nutrition, University of Agricultural
Sciences, Dharwad to evaluate the physico-chemical properties,
nutritional quality and utilization potential of QPM in comparison with
traditional varieties (SA-Tall and DMH-2).
