Abstract
THESIS ABSTRACT 2014-2015 The to rearing study was the carried out at Depaiiment of Sericulture GKVK, UAS, Bangalore during "Residual toxicity effect of pesticides and nitrate on performance of mulberry silkworm". Fifteen samples of soil and mulberry leaves were analyzed for pesticide this residue. only one Among sample them (F4K) only nine contained samples residue had of detectable cypennetlu·in level of (0.55ppm) pesticide 11bove residue MRL(Oin soil, .Olout ppm).of Similarly in Chlorantraniliprole(0.29ppm) mulbeITy on leaves par only with(0.29ppm). one sample Highest soil (FI2C) nitrate contained residue at 30cm residue depthof was recorded recorded in in F9C(71.98ppm). FIK(357.14ppm).
