Abstract
Hippocampus from the brain samples for the morphological, histological and histochemieal observations Were collected from six-month-old, eight-month-old and twelve-month-old adult Madras Red sheep. Paraffin sections varying from 5-10 µm thickness were used for histological and histochemical observations and
they were stained by routine and special methods.
