It is therefore, very important to preserve and protect the traditional knowledge and also to establish a digital data base of traditional medicines. In the present study an attempt was made for collection, identification and documentation of plants of the study area. During collection of voucher specimens, village headman, spiritual leaders, Vaidya’s, and the people having the knowledge of plants were contacted.
