Abstract
Toll proteins are known to play a key role in innate immune responses in crustaceans like shrimp. The objective of this work was to study the gene of Toll proteins in a commercially important shrimp, Penaeus vannamei (white shrimp) during experimental induction with Vibrio harveyi, a gram-negative bacterial pathogen infecting shrimp.
