dc.description.abstractThe study was designed to determine gender participation and decision making in improved dairy husbandry practices. It was conducted in Namakkal district belonging to Northwestern zone of Tamil Nadu. Data was collected from 325 livestock farmers through pretested interview schedule and participatory rural appraisal method. Gender participation and decision making were analysed using frequency distribution, percentile and chi-square test. Dairy farming practices were categorized in to breeding, feeding. health care, management and marketing domain for studying participation and decision making.en_US
