To Work is human nature and women are no exception to this. In fact in the World of work, women contribute much more than men. It is easy to see that the amount of work allotted to Women is considerably greater and their labor is much harder than men's work. The international decade for women (1975-85) indicates that there are 3201 million women in the -world and 326 million live in India. Today it is held that two third of all the works in the world is performed by Women and they constitute half of the Labor work force. Half of the food produced in the World is the labor of women working on farms. In Africa 75 per cent of the Work in agriculture is done by women and in Asia women constitute half the agricultural labor force( Dhar, 1978)en_US
