dc.description.abstractThe infectivity of three strains (buffalo, bovine and canine) of T. evansi in rabbits revealed the prepatent period to vary from 17.5 to 19.4 days and patent period 34.2 to 44.7 days. The course of the disease varied from 53.4 to 64.1 days. The infected rabbits developed a chronic course with paroxysms and intermissions to these strains of T. evansi.en_US
