Abstract
A 3 years old Jersey crossbred heifer on its first gestation was presented
to Large Animal Obstetrics Unit of VCC. VCRI, Orathanadu with the history
of not showing signs of parturition even after completion of gestation period.
The animal was inseminated 10 months back and confirmed for pregnancy by
3rd month.
