Abstract
The citrus (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle.) is an important arid fruit crop. The fruit rot caused by Aspergillus niger Tieghem, adversely affects the fruit quality and ultimately reduces the market value. As the Aspergillus fruit rot of citrus causes enormous yield losses and frequently observed in orchards and markets, the detail investigation on various aspects was carried out at Department of Plant Pathology, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand. Freshly infected citrus fruits (Kagzi Lime) exhibiting typical Aspergillus rot symptoms were collected from Horticulture Farm, Anand Agricultural University, Anand
