Abstract
The emus (Dromains novaehollandiae) are reard for their eggs, meat and oil. The emus lay eggs during winter season and sometimes in summer (Minnar & Minnar, 1993). The cost of production of emu eggs depends upon raw material cost and the number of egg produced by individual hens. Though, the cost of production of emu hatching eggs, was reported by Nagabhushanrao et. al., (2005), the present study was carried out to know the cost of emu hatching eggs in Tamil Nadu.
