Andaman and Nicobar Islands) was investigated based on morphological features. The overall prevalence of Eimeria spp. was found out to be 36.25%. The prevalence of coccidiosis in cow and buffalo calves were 43.0% and 26.98%, respectively. It was noted that E. alabamensis, E. cylindrica and E. bovis were identified only in cattle while E. bareillyi, E. braziliensis and E. ellipsoidalis were found only in buffaloes. Eimeria canadensis, E. zuernii, E. wyomingensis and E. bukidonensis were found shared between both the hosts. Eimeria wyomingensis was seen mostly associated with dysentery in cattle calves. Eimeria canadensis, E. zuernii, E. ellipsoidalis and E. bareillyi were prevalent both Chennai and Port Blair.en_US
