The Madras Red sheep is a mutton type breed of Tamil Nadu. The infom1ation on Madras Red sheep is scanty. Therefore this study was undertaken to study the effect of sex, type of birth, season, dam's weight and year of birth on birth weight of Madras Red sheep.en_US
