dc.description.abstractConventional typing techniques were found to be poor in discriminating different S.aureus strains. In this study, a rapid, technically simple RAPD assay was employed to type the S.aureus strains. DNA fragment patterns obtained using this assay gave good level of discrimation to type the S.auerus strains.en_US
