Abstract
This prospective study was designed to evaluate acquired diffuse
inflammatory brain diseases in dogs. The goal was to study the incidence and clinico-pathological evaluation of various acquired diffuse inflammatory brain diseases in dogs. Suspected neurologically deficit animals were selected and categorised into two categories involving infectious and non-infectious
inflammatory brain diseases which were compared with the apparently healthy animals which served as the control and incidence of infectious and non-infectious inflammatory brain diseases was recorded.
