dc.description.abstract | Gram positive bacteria -30%, Gram negative -43% bacteria ,both Gram positive and negative bacteria 20% and fungus-7% were isolated from otitis externa. Pseudomonas aeruginosa was predominantly isolated in chronic otitic externa. Gram positive bacteria isolated (23) were found to be sensitive to amikacin ( 61%), amoxycillin clauvunic acid (52%), ciprofloxacin (57%), and amoxycillin (17%). Gram negative bacteria isolated (38) were found to be sensitive to amikacin (63%) followed by ciprofloxacin (47%) cephotaxime (34%) and cephalexin (13%). | en_US |
