A field experiment was conducted at Research Farm, Rajiv Gandhi South Campus Barkachha Mirzapur (U.P.), Institute of Agricultural Sciences, BHU, Varanasi-221005. Agroforestry an approach to land use that incorporates trees into farming systems, and allows for the production of trees and crops or livestock from the same piece of land in order to obtain economic, environmental, ecological, and cultural benefits.Mungbean(VignaradiataL.) is an important pulse crop of India. It is a short duration, highly productive crop and rich sources of protein.Nitrogen is an essential element for proper plant growth and development.Phosphorus has novel function of special importance in the process of energy storage and transfer.Inoculation in these crops was found to increase the crops yield by about 10-15 % under on farm condition.Guava trees are easy in establishment, tolerate the shock exerted during the course of pruning, exert least competition to nutrient and moisture to the crop grow together. The soil of the experimental field was sandy loam-silt in texture with pH 4.55. It was moderately fertile with organic carbon (0.28 %), available nitrogen (202.36 kg ha-1), and available phosphorus (16.57 kg ha-1).The taller plant height was obtained with the N60 P120and with rhizobium whereas the smallest with control (no application). The fertility treatment the maximum number of trifoliate leaves plant-1 obtained in N60 P120 with rhizobium. The yield attributes viz., number of pods plant-1, pods length, number of grain pod-1 and 1000 grain weight were recorded higher in seed inoculation with fertility levels N60 P120 with rhizobium. Interaction between seed inoculation and fertility levels had non-significantly effect on yield attributes. The maximum and the minimum gross return were obtained from seed inoculation with fertility treatment N60 P120 and minimum control (no application). The maximum net return and benefit cost ratio were also obtained from N60 P120 with rhizobium.en_US
