Blood, buffy coat and lymph node biopsy samples were collected from dogs with clinical signs related to haemoparasites and screened for the haemoparasites E. canis, Babesia spp., H. canis and T. evansi by polymerase chain reaction. A high sensitivity for the haemoparasites by PCR on blood than any other type of samples was identified.en_US
