Abstract
In many dairy cows, parturition can be a stressful event, mostly if animal is having
any injury or metabolic diseases. To alleviate this stressful condition, the pregnancy has
to be medically terminated. A non-descript, pluriparous, and full term pregnant cow
was brought to LAC - Obstetrics Unit, Madras Veterinary College Teaching Hospital
with a history of stemal recumbency for past five days.
