Surgical Removal of Ventricular Foreign Body in a Desi Chicken (Gallus Domesticus)

Abstract
A 6 month old, Desi chicken, was presented after it swallowed a safety pin. Lateral and Ventro-dorsal survey radiograph revealed the presence of a radio-opaque foreign body in the pro-ventriculus extending into gizzard. Ventriculotomy was done successfully to remove the foreign body.
