dc.description.abstractCanine generalized demodicosis is a common inflammatory parasitic skin disease of dogs associated with theproliferation of Demodex mites in hair follicles and sebaceous glands. This disease remains one of the most difficult treatment challenges in veterinary dermatology. A nine month old male Doberman was brought to SAC-OP-DERMATOLOGY with the complaint of alopecia and pruritis for past 3 months with no response to previous treatment.en_US
