dc.description.abstractA study was conducted to evolve the prediction equation to estimate body weight from other live animal body measurements viz. body length (cm), height at withers (cm). chest girth (cm) and hip width (cm). Totally. ll4 Desi pigs (Boar-43. Gilt-36 and Sow-35) were used for this study to measure the live animal parameters viz‘ body weight (kg), body length (cm), height at withers (cm). chest girth (cm) and hip width (cm).
