dc.description.abstractThe MinION portable DNA sequencer from Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) has been released to the scientific community with in the frame work of an early access programme to evaluate its application for a veraity of genetic approaches. Nanopore sequencing may be the next disruptive technology in genomics, owing to its ability to detect single DNA molecules without amplification This Technology has provide a genome wide analyses. In this study we tested the ability of MinION system that permits real-time analysis of streaming event to perform the Whole genome sequencing of Aedes aegypti mosquito. Poretools is a flexible toolkit for exploring data generated by Nanopore sequencing device MinION for the purpose of downstream analysis. In which we convert the raw data generated in a set of FAST5 file from one sequencing run to FASTA or FASTQ format.en_US
