Flowers are one of the most beautiful creation of god. Flowers are symbolism of beauty, love, purity and respect. They form the soul of a garden and convey the message of nature to man. The beauty of flower has attracted attention of mankind from beginning of the civilization. In an ancient and religious country like India, flowers are sanctified and are commonly used for worship in temples. Seed is the basic input on which the final yield is hinges, therefore good qualityseeds is of utmost importance for obtaining good growth and yield. Seeds are occasionally sown in seedbeds havingunfavorable moisture because of the lack of rainfall at sowing time which results in poor andunsynchronized seedling emergence.Seed priming is an effective method to improve the rapid and uniform emergence and toachieve high vigour leading to better stand establishment and yield. We comprising 8 priming treatments viz., control, hydropriming with distilled water, priming with GA3 (50, 75 and 100 ppm) and priming with KNO3 (0.1, 0.2 and 0.3%) Seeds were soaked in solution of various treatments and distilled water for 24 hours. Observation taken in randomely selected plant manually and observed significant effect on various seedling, growth, flowering and postharvest attributes.Improvedseed priming techniques are used to reduce emergence time, accomplish uniformemergence, better allometric (changes in growth of plant parts over time)attributes and requisite stand in many horticultural and field crops.en_US
