Soybean is important oilseed and pulse crop grown throughout India and world. Proper grading of seeds by appropriate graders and sieves depending upon varieties is important to enhance seed quality and storability. Efficiency of seed treating chemicals in storage will be enhanced by polymer coating, which holds the chemical intact and prevents loss during storage. Among four different methods studied, seeds graded by hand cleaning recorded significantly higher seed quality parameters throughout the storage period followed by grader 1 (model DELUX of agrosaw). As hand cleaning is time consuming and costlier grading of seeds by grader I, which caused less damage to seeds found to be better for processing of soybean seeds. The variety JS-9305 revealed better seed quality parameters during 10 months of storage.en_US
