Abstract
Kangayam bull aged about 3 years was presented to Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex (TVCC),
Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal with the history of sudden swelling in the right
forelimb and bleeding from nose following snake bite while grazing. Clinical examination revealed
swelling on the fetlock region of right forelimb, epistaxis and prolonged whole blood clotting time.
Animal was treated with Polyvalent Snake Venom Antiserum, Tetanus Toxoid and supportive therapy.
