dc.research.problemThe recent studies in many countries have show beyond doubt that Jaagziekte and maedi are separate disease entities moreover the transmission experiments conducted in different countries (South Africa, Iceland, England, Peru and kenya) have brought to light the transissible nature of these diseases. From this country many reports elucidating the morphology of Jaagziekte and Maedi lesions though have appeared do not present the valid estimate of epizootiology and varied pathologic manifestations of these diesases.en_US
