Abstract
In turkeys, the bursa of Fabricius was a lymphoepithelial gland, sac like in structure connected to the dorsal wall of the proctodeum of the cloaca by a small stalk. The present study on the bursa of Fabricius was proposed to giva a clear picture on gross and microanatomy of this organ. Bursas were collected from different age groups of birds from day 7 to 8 months in both the sexes.
