dc.description.abstract | The above findings clearly indicate that analgesic effect of metamizole was reduced or nullified at the dose of 225 mg/kg body weight on simultaneous administration with cyproheptadine at the dose of 0.1 mg/kg body weight, and 72 hours after the administration of phenobarbitone sodium at the dose of 100 mg/kg body weight and cyproheptadine at the dose of 0.1 mg/kg body weight. Hence both in therapy and during surgery, the above drug interactions should be taken into consideration while administering metamizole as an analgesic. | en_US |
