Abstract
Ethnoveterinary practices almost offer viable alternative or compliments to conventional medicine. Ethnoveterinary remedies are quite accessible, easy to prepare and administer, cost effective which is at little cost or no cost to the farmer. Ethnoveterinary medicine not only differs from place to place and but also among and within communities. Documenting the indigenous knowledge is important for conservation and efficient utilization of biological resources.
