dc.description.abstractA study Was carried out to assess the prevalence of brucellosis in canine by serology and culture. The samples were collected from Small Animal Out- Patient Ward at Madras Veterinary College, Chennai-7; Veterinary University Peripheral Hospital at Madhavaram milk colony, Private Veterinary Clinics Private kennels of Arakkonam, Madhavaram milk colony, Thiruvotriyur, Ambathur and Minjur. A total of 300 dogs were screened, for which 300 serum samples, 150 whole blood samples, 96 vaginal swabs, 42 aborted fetus, 44 fetal membrane, 5 semen samples, 3 urine samples were collected.en_US
