Abstract
The levels of total serum protein (7.36 ± 0.23) and haemoglobin (7.18 ± 0.20) respectively were observed to be significantly lower (P < 0.01) in anoestrus buffalo-cows as compared to those in oestrus (9.26 ± 0.31), (9.03 ± 0.42) and dioestrus (9.28 ± 0.25), (8.97 ± 0.59). Low level of these factors indicates anoestrus condition in a herd of cattle.
