Abstract
Impacted oviduct is a condition of unusual occurrence in layers. In this condition oviduct is occluded by masses of yolk, coagulated albamen, shell membrane and in some instances fully formed eggs. Large masses of yolk like inaterials may be found in the oviduct and upon transaction these massess have the appearance of concentric rings (Peckham, 1965). Similar condition from a laying hen is described hereunder.
